Let me be renewed by the Sun, let me be cleansed by the Winds, let me be nourished by Mother Earth
Being in flow, to me, is connecting to and being aligned with the energy of the universe. Tapping into this energy by accessing your intuition, the inner knowing of your soul. Your choices aligning with your higher self, being true to you, your soul and who you want to be. Being in flow is not a passive act. Being in flow requires persistence, clarity, action, movement, desire, resilience and tenacity. It requires you to work towards your goals by constantly working with your energy and working to increase your vibration. In doing so, you can then vibrate at a frequency that aligns with your higher self and your souls purpose in this life.
Flow can sometimes be challenging as you wade through the murky waters of your inner world. You come across resistance from your Ego, you uncover hurts and pains that you thought you had put to bed a long time ago. You look yourself in the mirror and wonder who the hell am I? The process of moving towards flow can also be wondrous. You can feel like you are soaring through the sky on a full moon night. You have little wins along the way which you can celebrate. Sometimes these wins settle into your being, other times the fear of what if, what’s next, why me creep in. What I have found to be key to work towards being in flow is not to resist fear. Welcome fear with open arms, acknowledge fear, thank fear for being a part of your journey and then keep walking in the direction you were going. Fear, I feel, is just your self-doubt, your beliefs about lack of self-worth, that you are not lovable or not deserving. It’s all those things that, in the past, stopped you in your tracks. It’s the self-talk that you are not even aware of, or it’s the self-talk that you are aware of and actually listen to. The key is unlocking fear and moving through fear. Perhaps finding out where it has come from; perhaps you will find out where it formed, perhaps not. This fear may be from past lives or even passed down linear family lines from generation to generation.
Once fear is out in the open, fear can be your friend. I know, it sounds weird and a little uncomfortable. But to be in flow, fear comes along for the ride. Fear doesn’t drive your decisions anymore; instead fear can be seen as your opportunity to work on that belief or issue. To dive deeper within, to uncover, unfurl that which you have tried to keep hidden. It is your opportunity to become consciously aware of your choices, the decisions you make and allows you to guide your life, consciously as a willing, active creator that you are.
Life, being that we signed up to learn, for our souls to experience this life on earth at this moment in time, will have its ups and downs. Knowing that everything we experience is very much for a reason, a lesson, an experience for us or others or both, let us embrace the fear, the ups and downs. Let us remember who we are and be in flow, in flow with ourselves, with this planet and with the universe.
